Your cart-pal demo guide
A few clicks. The whole simulated order journey.
1. Open the demo and build a basket
Choose Launch simulated demo on the cart-pal page, or open the standalone demo on cart-pal.com. Keep the sample tote and mug, or change quantities with the plus/minus controls. Show me how opens the instruction bubbles; Escape closes them.
2. Follow an approved payment
Choose Approved and select Run sample checkout. Open the order journey. The simulated approval creates one paid order and a queued handoff. Select Simulate warehouse acceptance, then Simulate shipment to see sample tracking.
3. Explore a decline
Return to checkout and choose Declined. Run the sample checkout and inspect the record. No paid order or fulfillment request is created. This is a simulated outcome, not a real processor decision.
4. Review an uncertain result
Choose Uncertain and run checkout. Open payment review, select Simulate gateway lookup, then Record verified approval. The simulation finds the original approval; it does not submit a new charge. Production reconciliation still requires approved operations procedures.
5. Pause the warehouse
In Orders & fulfillment, pause the demo warehouse. Approve a new checkout: the paid order stays queued. Resume the warehouse, then accept and ship the selected order. Search activity by reference or product and filter by payment status.
6. Explore the business model
Open Revenue model. Choose Pilot, Grow, or Scale and adjust the assumptions. Estimates cover software subscriptions and order automation before costs and taxes. They exclude payment residuals and setup fees; they are not quotes or revenue guarantees.
Reset, privacy, and limits
Reset demo clears sample activity and restores calculator defaults; reloading also clears activity. Customers, products, payments, shipments, and tracking are fictional. No card details, personal information, credentials, or live payment/provider connections are used.
If the embedded demo does not load
Use Open full-screen demo or Reload demo. Reconnect first if offline. Reloading clears sample activity. The page, demo, and resources are hosted on cart-pal.com; the embedded demo is isolated from its parent page and browser storage.
